This image was originally designed for a guy who asked me to draw him a tattoo. Well, he didn't wait for me to finish it, instead getting some generic blue dragon. But it's just as well, because when I decided to add this image to my tshirt shops, I found that a dark aqua color was much better suited for my sea serpent than blue. I especially love the bored, slightly grumpy expression he has, and I like the combination of his sharp, threatening spines with the swoopy, curli-cue lines of his tail fin.
